The eCall workshop event, organised by ERTICO-ITS Europe on Wednesday 30 November in Harwell, UK.

The workshop builds up on the eCall TESTFEST event, held aims at presenting the Pan European eCall service and the private variants of eCall, i.e. the Third Party service eCall. The workshop is an opportunity for stakeholders from the safety and transport sectors, as well as for students, to understand the principles of eCall from the technological and deployment point of view. eCall and testing experts  will also present how interoperability ids handled as well as the role of the TESTFEST event. Finally, the evolutions of eCall in the future will be presented.

The workshop will be concluded by a visit of the TESTFEST event providing the opportunity to meet eCall system developers and testing experts and a Demo – e-call over Satellite.
